Rental legislation clarified

Ukraine’s Verhovna Rada has adopted bill №4681 which clarifies the procedure for state registration of the property rents. Registration of the lease should be - at most - 14 days from the date of application. The fee for this procedure should not be more than three times the non-taxable minimum of inhabitants’ income (Hr 51 or US$6.5). Also the Ukrainian Parliament decided that the state registration of the property’s rent would be based on the Law “State registration of property assets and interest limits.” The law comes into force from moment of publication. The author of the bill, Vladimir Litvin, said the bill’s adoption makes conditions for the implementation of the state lease registration transparent and clear.
